J. Christopher Walsh

Chris Walsh has over 35 years experience successfully designing, selling, and implementing claim and managed health care programs.

In addition to his national work with employers, carriers, TPAs, and vendors, Walsh also writes about industry topics for WorkCompWire.com and Insurance Today.  He is an active resource for investment and private equity firms seeking a better understanding of market dynamics and future trends.

Prior to re-joining Arlington Associates, Inc. (AAI) in April 2009, he spent 15 years as a Sales VP at Coventry Workers' Comp Services and CorVel Corporation. His clients included three of the top five largest casualty insurance carriers in the country, large self insured employers, state funds, state, county, and city governments, software vendors, as well as a number of national managed care companies.

In the early 1990's Walsh founded AAI, during which time AAI clients included HMOs, PPOs, health care software vendors, and managed care service providers. Prior to AAI, Walsh held sales and client management positions with HCX, Inc., American International Healthcare, Inc., and General Health, Inc.

These innovative companies helped create and popularize many of the essential service and software products found in most claim and managed health care programs today.

Walsh holds a Health Management MS from American University and a BA from Georgetown University.
